open beta situation where anyone who is interested in getting to play, will get to play. It’s beneficial for them to do it for a variety of reasons.
For one, they get to test the servers and make sure they have stability for the loads of people who are going to want to play. Another benefit is that this will give more people the chance to be sure they want to fork out the cash for the game, increasing pre-orders before December even gets here.
