What are people saying so far about LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Here’s a fun review roundup for you to get some varied opinions:

In a galaxy far, far, away (…okay, actually, right here in this galaxy), there was a game is still one of the best LEGO titles of the past few years. Here’s why you should build on.

AM New York Scott Fontana

Fontana gives it 3 out of 4 stars and says, “Several key additions elevate “The Force Awakens” above standard Lego game fare. For starters, the HUD graphics received long overdue enhancements. It’s nothing major, but it helps the game stand out right away.”

Some other parts he liked? “Starship battles are better than ever, too. Some are on rails, but most are in open air areas. They’re light years ahead of past “Lego” games’ dogfights thanks to a from-behind camera angle and improved controls.

Gaming Age Paul Rosselli

“Back in January I praised The Force Awakens play set for Disney Infinity (R.I.P.) with bringing a justified return to the movie tie-in Force Awakens follows the entire storyline from the movie and then some. I especially liked the way Disney Infinity handled The Force Awakens and I can safely say that Traveller’s Tales did an even better job with their movie interpretation.”

NZ Herald Chris Schulz

“It’s called The stars all the main characters from the film, including Rey, Finn, Poe, Han and Chewie.

But as you fire up the latest Lego Star Wars game, the first thing you’ll do isn’t a Stormtrooper battle on Jakku or taking down George Lucas’ original trilogy.”

Slant Magazine Justin Clark

“LEGO Force Awakens doesn’t attempt to rejigger the same, effective formula for a licensed LEGO video games do occur in that you’re now given options on how to reassemble specific piles of LEGO bits and when, but it doesn’t change the basic flow of gameplay to any serious degree.”

Community Voices Max Parker

“The gameplay of the Characters break down objects that can be rebuilt into helpful ones that can clear a path or reach a platform.”

8.5 out of 10 stars.
